Landscape Photography Workshops

The first of this year’s one day large format landscape photography workshops, giving you the chance to try out these amazing cameras or, if you already own a large format camera, providing the opportunity to build on the knowledge you already have. We provide all the equipment you need and even provide some film which we will develop for you and send to you after the workshop.

Our second one day large format workshop gives you the opportunity to use the ultimate in landscape photography camera amongst the stunning heather of the Peak District. You don’t need to have any large format experience to come along on the workshop,we aim to give you a firm understanding of how these cameras work. Once you’ve relieved the transparencies back from us from the day, we hope you’ll see what all the fuss is about.

A workshops for both film and digital photographers. Both Tim & Dav are passionate about composition, this workshop looks in depth at this subject and aims to change the way we look at composing landscape subjects. As well as in camera composition we will look at post processing and its effect on the final image.

More and more people are discovering the joys of using film cameras again. If
you're new to using film, want to try it out or find yourself coming back to it after
some time this workshop is for you! Whether you are interested in 35mm, medium
or large format (or even all 3!) we’ll go over camera use, colour and b&w film
choices, metering and developing. If you haven’t already got a film camera, not to
worry – we have equipment that you can hire for the weekend in all formats.

Our second landscape photography composition workshop this year, this time located around the stunning landscape of Ullswater. This workshop is for both digital and film photographers. We will cover all aspects of composition, dismiss the rules of thirds (ROT!) and look in depth at what makes an intriguing, structured landscape picture.

A weekend of large format photography for photographers of all levels – if you’ve
never used a large format camera before we'll teach you the basics. If you’re an
experienced LF’er come along to enjoy great locations in the Peak District and
maybe pick up a few new techniques along the way.

If our regular workshops don’t quite match up to what you need, we now offer the
chance to book Dav & Tim for a day or longer. Whether you want large format tuition, digital landscape techniques, post processing or anything else landscape photography based – we can cover exactly what you need. We will organise workshops around dates and locations that suit you.
